Configuring MicroSoft Outlook
|
|
To configure your mail account in Microsoft Outlook 2000, you need
to follow below mentioned guide lines.
|
|
|
From the Tools menu, select Accounts....The Internet Accounts window
appears.Click the Add a New Email Account Optionand select Mail....
The Internet Connection Wizard appears.

|
|
|
Select POP3 from the Server Type as we need to configure POP3 Type
of Account.
|
|
|
|
Fillin the Information like Your Name, Email Address e.g. test@dreamsoftindia.com,
User Name (which will be email-domainname), password and Incoming
& Outgoing Mail Servers which will be main.domainname.com.

|
|
Click On Finish to complete the settings.
|
|
|
|
Go To Tools>Accounts and View or Change Existing e-mail Accounts
under Email.
|
|
|
Select your account from the list.
|
|
|
|
Click on More Settings and fillup the required info.
|
|
|
|
Check the box of My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
and click on Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
|
|
|
Keep the same settings under Advanced Screen. |
